David Park, playing on a 17th Century Stradivarius Violin with Alex Marshall on Piano, presents an evening of classical favorites. Program includes:
o Praeludium and Allegro – Fritz Kreisler
o Sonata No 2 in G Major – Maurice Ravel
o Ave Maria – Giulio Caccini
o Carmen – Pablo de Sarasate
o La Vie en Rose – ?dith Piaf
This recital is the first in a monthly concert series that will be presented in the First Presbyterian Church Sanctuary, which is noted for its fine acoustics.
Proceeds from the concert series will benefit the 150th Anniversary Campaign. The Campaign goals including restoring the sandstone exterior and fragile terra cotta features (such as gargoyles and florets), replacing outdated mechanical systems, and modernizing common areas to ensure that the magnificent, historical landmark will continue as a faith and community home for generations to come. Admission Info
Suggested donation of $25 per person in support of FPC’s 150th Anniversary Campaign. Donations will be taken at the door.
