Jacob Khalil is a Palestinian American singer-songwriter and pianist who effectively blurs the lines between jazz and modern popular music. Fresh from a performance on Saturday Night Live with Sam Smith in January, Jacob’s sold out concerts have been described as “the kinds of performances that make people love live music, with patrons clapping along…wishing they could get up and dance.”
Jacob's original songs have been hailed by Broadway World as “exceptional…radio ready chart toppers.” Tonight Jacob will present a set of energetic songs from both his own catalogue and from the the popular music soundscape — ranging from Gershwin to Ariana Grande, and From the Beatles to Harry Styles.
Jacob is a graduate of Brigham Young University where he performed leading opera roles, toured internationally with the BYU Singers and Young Ambassadors, and performed with BYU’s premier big band Synthesis.
