The Colombian superstar, and one of the most emblematic figures of Vallenato with the greatest international projection, Silvestre Dangond is an interpreter who transcends barriers. Catapulting Vallenato worldwide, Silvestre has a two-decade career through Latin America and Europe. It has been one of the great international promises of recent years for its ability to merge folk music with current music. Dangond is the creator of the “silvestrista” movement, which brings together its hundreds of thousands of loyal followers dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of sick or vulnerable children, through organized concerts and help in various social foundations. He has won countless awards and recognitions, including Latin GRAMMY, Lo Nuestro Award and an ASCAP award for the composition of the success Cásate Conmigo in 2019.

His success “Ya No Me Duele Más” got more than 160M views on YouTube. Simultaneously, in 2018, his success Marate Conmigo con Nicky Jam reached # 1 on United States radio in the charts: Latin Airplay, Latin Rhythm and Tropical Songs of Billboard; today the song has more than 707M views on YouTube. In 2019, his songs “Justicia” featuring Natti Natasha and “Vivir Bailando” featuring Maluma also reached the national radio charts. At the beginning of 2021, Silvestre released his fourteenth studio album: “LAS LOCURAS MÍAS”. Dangond expresses his deep feelings about the interpretation of his first single: Las Locuras Mías: “It's been a long time since I sang this type of songs that make you fall in love! This song has a vintage sound that transports me to the years of my beginnings,” said Silvestre Dangond. With this album he has been able to tour Colombia, Europe, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela and a last Latin GRAMMY for Best Cumbia/Vallenato Album.

In 2021, Silvestre Dangond became the only Latin artist to have 8 consecutive performances at the prestigious Fillmore Theater in the city of Miami Beach with his successful tour: “De Local”. In 2022, Silvestre faced one of the most important challenges for his career, which is to play the role of the vallenato legend Leandro Díaz in a television series in his native country Colombia. With this project (Leandro Diaz Special Editio) and with his album INTRUSO, a record production that includes songs full of urban rhythms, but, always preserving his musical roots through the accordion, he achieved important Latin GRAMMY nominations in this 2023. Dangond is definitely an artist who, based on talent, charisma, discipline and a lot of work, is managing to export a piece of Colombia to the whole world.
